Founded in 2011, the Swiss International School (SIS) is the only school in Brasília to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). It is modelled on the more established SIS in Rio de Janeiro. A small, co-ed day school, it is growing alongside its pupils: in 2022 it went up to Grade 9; in 2023, it will open a high school and initiate the accreditation process to offer the IB Diploma. It’s popular with families looking for a multilingual, international education, academic excellence and modern teaching methods.
