Our View

Cosy, secure and deeply comforting – especially for parents arriving from the UK – this place feels more like being in an English village school where parents make firm friendships at drop-off, than part of the oldest British international school in south-east Asia. Since 2014, the infant school (it includes nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) has been led by the well-respected, well-liked Paula Craigie, a lead Ofsted inspector who really knows her stuff about the English curriculum.

    • Tanglin Celebrates Outstanding 2025 IB Results in its Centenary Year

      Tanglin’s 2025 IB results are nothing short of impressive. In its Centenary year the IB cohort achieved a 100% pass rate with a provisional average diploma score of 39.3 points, well above the world average of 30.58. This year's results demonstrate continued academic excellence from Tanglin students, with 72% of the cohort scoring an outstanding 38 points or more - an increase on 69% from last year.

    • The Tanglin Highlands Programme

      The Tanglin Highlands Programme is a five-week immersive learning journey at its Tanglin Gippsland campus in Australia and is the pinnacle of a Year 9’s Middle School education at Tanglin. Since Year 9 will be a formative year for adolescent development, the programme will focus on fostering three essential attributes: curiosity, confidence, and community.

      Award-winning Tanglin Trust School officially unveiled the Tanglin Centenary Building, an 11-storey building with state-of-the-art facilities, this week. The opening ceremony was attended by Guests of Honour; Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Transport and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, as well as Her Excellency, Kara Owen CMG CVO, British High Commissioner to Singapore.
