Running along the beach, mark-making in the sand, jumping over the waves and exploring crab habitats... we love the sound of weekly beach school, a fantastic part of life at Wellesley House. The pre-prep opened in 2019 and children can start in the nursery from the term that they turn two years old, moving up to Reception when they are four. Here, they are taught by specialists for PE, swimming, music, French and art; wraparound care is available until 6pm. The pre-prep is very much entwined with the prep school: little ones are paired up with an older buddy for lunch every Wednesday ...
