ACS International School Cobham celebrates biggest graduating class
On Friday 30 May, ACS International School Cobham proudly celebrated a landmark moment in the school鈥檚 history as students, staff, and families came together to honour its largest ever graduating cohort of 186 students.
The annual graduation ceremony offered a chance for the school community to reflect on and celebrate the academic achievements, personal growth, and resilience of the Grade 12 (Year 13) students.
Robert Crowther, Head of School, said: '
Huge congratulations to the Class of 2025 – the largest graduating cohort in ACS Cobham’s history! This milestone is not only a testament to the incredible talents of our students, but also a powerful reflection of the growing trust that families from around the world place in an ACS Cobham education. It has been a real privilege to see this fantastic group of students grow into well-rounded, internationally minded, intelligent, and resilient young people.'
The ceremony featured an inspiring keynote speech from Ed Jackson, former professional rugby player and Channel 4 presenter, who spoke about how to instil resilience into everyday life. Student speakers Woodrow Malby-Nightingale and Carter Wadding also delivered moving speeches, reflecting on their ACS journeys and future aspirations.
In addition to receiving their diplomas, several students were honoured with senior awards recognising exceptional academic performance.
The Valedictorian award, presented to the student with the highest academic average, was awarded to Charlotte Holtrup, who said:
'Being part of the ACS Cobham community has shaped who I am today. I'm incredibly grateful for the support of my teachers and friends, and I'm excited to take everything I've learned here into the next chapter of my life.'
Charlotte Lamb received the Salutatorian award for achieving the second highest academic average.
The Founders’ Award was presented to Ben Bushell for outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to extracurricular involvement. Ben is going onto studying Law at Oxford University.
Mr. Crowther added: '
Each and every student in this year group has demonstrated incredible dedication and drive. I am confident they will go on to achieve great things and make a positive impact wherever life takes them.'
