Taunton School welcomes new female president of its alumni association
Taunton School has elected Victoria Price as the new President of its Old Tauntonian Association (OTA).
Victoria began her new role on Friday 30th May 2025, becoming just the third female to hold the position in the OTA’s history.
An Old Tauntonian (OT) herself, Victoria attended Taunton School between 1976 and 1978 shortly after the School became fully co-educational.
Victoria said of her appointment: “As President of the OTA, I am looking forward to the challenge of the unknown and am excited at the prospect of harnessing the vast variety of skills we have across our alumni network.
“I can’t wait to get stuck in combining the experience of older OTs with the optimism and energy of our younger members to really build a strong community together.”
Following her people-focused career in industries including advertising, marketing and television production, Victoria moved back to Somerset with her husband and four children and now runs Gothelney Farm near Bridgwater. Victoria can be found driving a combine harvester, cooking in the kitchen, weighing pigs, or taking care of her grandchildren.
Founded in 1888, the Old Tauntonian Association – originally the Independent College Old Boys Association – has evolved through name changes and school mergers. Despite these transformations, its mission remains the same: fostering friendships and supporting Taunton School.
The OTA is open to all alumni of Taunton School and regularly hosts events in Taunton and around the world to ensure it continues to remain connected with its vast global community.
