Caps off to the Future… DLD College London Celebrates Class of 2025 at Grand Graduation Ceremony
The remarkable achievements of DLD College London’s diligent Class of 2025 have recently been honoured during a prestigious Graduation Ceremony.
Donning their formal gowns and caps, departing students from the multi-award-winning college gathered with parents, guardians, friends and staff members for the heartfelt event. Held in the historic Central Hall Westminster, the occasion marked the end of one journey and the exciting beginning of another.
A key highlight of the anticipated ceremony was special guest and DLD alumna Gabriele Watts, now a Barrister at 2 Hare Court, who returned to address the graduating cohort. Reflecting on her own time at DLD College London, she described it as ‘some of the happiest years of my life’, expressing gratitude to those who supported her along the way. Gabriele encouraged the cohort to stay resilient and true to their goals, reminding them that the path to success is rarely linear.
Former Heads of School Arian and Mariella also took to the stage, delivering moving speeches that touched on current global challenges, the vital role of supportive staff, and the enduring strength of friendships made at DLD. The student’s reflections deeply resonated with the graduating class, uniting everyone in a shared sense of pride, hope and community.
James Kidd, Principal of DLD College London, reflected on the day and said: '
We had a fantastic day of celebrating our departing students as they come to the end of their journey with us. It was a ‘full circle’ moment to have former DLD student, international barrister Gabriele Watts, back to share her story and inspire our students to excel. We heard super speeches from outgoing Heads of School Arian and Mariella and to top it off, one of last year’s Heads of School, Olivia, also joined the fun – we can’t keep former students away! It’s moments like today where we are reminded just how good the students are. We wish all of our students the best of luck on the next stage of their academic careers!'
