National Recognition for Fine Art and Design
We are delighted to share that we have been awarded Highly Commended in the ISA National School Awards for Excellence in Fine Arts and Design. This is a testament to the creativity, dedication and imagination shown by our pupils and talented teachers
Our art studio, summer art exhibition, our entry into The National Gallery’s Take One Picture competition, clubs and visits have inspired winning pieces in local and national competitions building a legacy, that is growing year on year.
The judges highlighted the way our projects combined strong technical skill with fresh ideas, noting how pupils weren’t afraid to experiment and take risks in their work. They also praised the sense of collaboration that came through in our submissions, something that reflects the supportive and inspiring environment we try to build.
What makes this award special is that it celebrates more than just individual talent. It recognises the hours of sketching, experimenting, problem-solving, and refining that go into producing work that speaks to others. It also acknowledges the encouragement of teachers and peers who help each pupil find their own creative voice.
This commendation is a wonderful milestone, and it motivates us to keep pushing boundaries in Fine Arts and Design.
