Choosing your child’s school is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make for them – particularly if you’re contemplating boarding schools...
We recently launched our
senior boarding school focus, singing about the many benefits of a boarding school education, from the co-curricular activities to the community spirit. And if that’s piqued your interest, this week we’re focussing the spotlight on Scotland’s boarding schools.
On Saturday 22nd May, the top senior boarding schools in Scotland are joining forces for a virtual event to tell parents about the glories of a Scottish boarding school education – not least all that epic scenery right on the doorstep and wonderful emphasis on the outdoors. Take
Fettes, with its top-notch academic provision and superb campus facilities right in the heart of beautiful Edinburgh, and a wide range of exhilarating activities on the doorstep, from sailing and skiing to mountain biking and Munro-scaling.
Gordonstoun – with its 200-acre wooded campus sandwiched between the sandy beaches of the Moray Firth and the rugged terrain of the Scottish Highlands – is perhaps best known for its ‘expeds’, which might include scaling a snowy mountain ridge or crewing an 80-foot cutter off the wild west coast.
At the virtual event, you’ll be able to meet senior staff and admissions teams, book chats with individual schools, download brochures and videos and have all your questions answered during live Q&As. To find out more about the event, click .
